FEDERATION AGM: Four of your Committee, along with about 25 others from around the country, attended the Federation AGM last Wednesday. It was an excellent presentation, due in the main to the quality of those on the Executive Committee. They are simply an outstanding group. Colin Young from Porirua Learning Centre was elected as our Regional Representative.
We of course have the Chairman's Report, Balance Sheet and other information, which any member is welcome to read should they wish to do so. Just ask a member of the Committee.
TUTORS BRIEFING: This was held today and a couple of changes have been instituted to make it easier. In future the Demographics, required for the TEC, will be incorporated into the membership application. This means in 12 months or so we shouldn't have to get the Tutors to get this information at all. Also the attendance records sheet each Tutor used to get has been replaced by a combined class list clipboard.
